リモンの価格高騰/Expensive Limon/天价柠檬/Que caro el limon

先週、授業の後いつも通りクラスメートと一緒に学校の売店でTacos とQuesadillas注文しました。
私はQuesadillasを食べる時もレモンをかけるのが好きで、いつもレモンをもらっていますが、先週はリモンがないと店員さんに言われました。レモンの在庫が無くなったかと思って、定番のチーズ粉を掛けて頂きました。
 
今日は現地の方から、「知っています？レモンが1キロ50pesosとの高価格となりましたよ！」と聞かれました。最近、あんまりスーパーに行ってないので、全然分からなかったです。
 
メキシコは結構レモンを輸出していて、値段がとっても安いです。通常1Kgで10-20Pesosの間です。安い時、お母さんはいつも多めに買って、洗剤代わりで使っています。なんと、今は１Kg50Pesosにもなりました。それとなると、地方によって、一日の最低賃金の67.29Pesosとあんまり差がないですね。毎日リモンをいろんなところで使うメキシコの方にとって、それは大変ですね。

ちなみに、メキシコの方は、

お料理にレモンを掛け、
飲み物にレモンを掛け、
お菓子にもレモン（ポテトチップスに、落花生に、色々）
シャンプーにもレモン
洗剤にもレモン
医薬品としてもレモン
美容、ダイエットにもレモン
等等。。。。

では、なぜこんなに値上げしたのでしょうか？

メキシコでは、以下の４つの地方はレモンの大産地です。
 Michoacan、Colima , Guerrero、 Oaxaca
特にMichoacan、Colima地区です。
ところで、今年は気候が原因で、Colima , Guerrero、 Oaxaca地区の収穫が悪いです。
これだけが理由なら、世界の何処でも農産物が気候に左右され、相場も変わるのが当然で、あえて、今日この日記を書かないと思います。もう一つ重要な理由は～～？日本ではあり得ないことで、私が知って、少し悲しくなった理由です。

それは、 Michoaca（ミチョアカン州）は治安が特に悪い地区で、そこから商品が運送されてメキシコシティや周辺都市にくるまで、ある意味で険しい道です。なぜかというと地方のマフィア組織に、お金を払わないといけないようです。昔の中国の言葉で言うと、「留下买路钱」，意味はこの道を通りたいなら、お金をよこせ！あ、悲しくなります。この国の国民が何時治安のいい環境で過ごせるのでしょうか？早くも全世界の人が平等で治安のいい環境で過ごせたらいいなぁ！！


Last week, as usual, after morning lessons, I went to Tacos shop with my classmates.
Normally when I order the Quesadillas, I also ask for some limon, and the shop staff always give the lemon to me. But last week, they said they didn't have lemon. We just thought the lemoss were out of stock in her shop.

Today, when I talked with one of my friends mexicana. She asked me---do you know the price of limon is 50 pesos per kg? I havent been to supermarket recently, so actually I didn't know. But it is really hard to image because normally limon here is 10-20 pesos per kg. Due to the cheap price, some time my mother buys a lot to use as detergent in the kitchen. And for some region of Mexico, their lowest salary daily is 67.29 peso, how can it be?? There is no big gap in between.

And as everybody knows, Mexican use a lot of lemon for their daily life.

Lemon for food.
Lemon for drink.
Lemon for sweets.(lemon for potato chips, for peanust, etc...)
Lemon for shampoo.
Lemon for face mask.
Lemon for detergent.
Lemon for medecine.
Lemon for beauty, for diet...

Then, can you image what is the reason for the price increasing...?
Michoacan、Colima , Guerrero、 Oaxaca are main producer for the limon in Mexico.
But due to the bad clamate last Nov, Dec, it was not harvest this year for Colima , Guerrero、 Oaxaca. So Michoacan is the only place that produced a lot this year.
But this simple reason will not push me to write this blog.
So one reason important  behind is:
The transportacion from Michoacan to DF, is not easy issue.
They will be asked to pay for the Mafia organization.

This reason really made me so sad.
By when, all the mexican can live in a society safely?
